I'm glad that I have found this beautiful blog when I was searching for some inspirational photos for my daughter's upcoming birthday party this June. I can't help but sharing the candy buffet setting I found on the blog. I find it simple and very sweet which I think would be suitable for my daughter's princess themed party. My daughter's first Sports Day

It was an exciting day for my daughter Qaisara. It was her first sports day at school and everyone in the family including her one year old sister came to give some moral support.  

At the end of the event, every child received a gold medal as the school thinks that everyone who participated in the sports event deserves to be a winner. Qaisara was so proud of her medal and it was so amusing that she refused to take it off even during our lunch at the restaurant.

Carnival party... Mya is turning 4

We did a carnival birthday party for my cousin's daughter over the weekend. I love carnival party and i was so excited when my cousin agreed to throw a carnival theme party for her daughter's 4th birthday. The preparation was easy as I've already collected some of the carnival things like the backdrop, paper bunting, table cloth and the musical box. It was a fun party for the kids as they were busy being attended to by the bubbly clown. It was nice to have the clown around - each kid gets their sculptured balloon and face painting. Extra toys were given out for those who answered riddles correctly. 
Hopefully one day I could also do a carnival birthday party for my kids.

Just another weekend at home

Here comes another weekend. It's time for me to clean the house, do some laundry, go groceries shopping and play with the kids. Today we had lunch @ Chakri Palace KLCC and did some toys shopping @ Mothercare. Right after my hubby paid for the toys, my daughter Qaisara repeatedly request us to go home as she can't wait to play with her newly bought play-dough. My attempt to do some window-shopping failed as she violently  pulled my hand and prevent me from entering into the shop. As usual, I gave in and we went straight home.

Carnival... the Inspiration Board

I have been busy this past few weeks. My niece is turning four this weekend and I'm busy preparing things for her birthday party. As usual, I have been collecting pictures for inspirations from various websites. Here's some of the pictures. I will upload pictures of the real party this coming weekend. 

Lunch @ Wondermilk

Last weekend I had lunch at my favourite cafe, Wondermilk Publika. The cafe is famously known for its lovely and yummy cupcakes. I had on a few occassions ordered the cupcakes online. Unfortunately, they no longer have the online services. I love the concept of the cafe that has this vintage ambience with nice ceiling and wall deco.

What brought me to Publika is my searching for some vintage stuff for the upcoming birthday project that my sister cousin assigned me. But I couldn't find what I was looking for (sigh). Will keep on searching for them this coming weekend.
